BIO My wife and I have owned coastal property in the Coastal Carolina's since 1986, enjoying every minute of our time in this area.  I retired from Duke Energy, after 40 years of service as a Major Projects Manager, in 2003 and relocated to Sunset Beach, realizing a dream of many years.  We have one daughter, married, with 2 children. As a Major Projects Manager for Duke Energy, I was responsible for planning, preparing budgets, obtaining financing, executing and managing major projects related to the high voltage grid in the Piedmont Carolina's.  This included vendor and contractor procurement, along with project oversight and financial review as needed to ensure project completion on time and under budget.  Each year the value of my individual projects ranged from $5-$25 million. I am a native of Sherrill’s Ford, NC and the Lake Norman area, but enjoy living, working and playing in beautiful Brunswick County.  I am an active volunteer in Brunswick County, the State of North Carolina and the community at large.  I served on the Sunset Beach Town Council for 8 years and work with the Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce in helping to conduct their many programs.
